I am fascinated by buildings- I often wonder if it is a reflection of my late father’s very technical mind. I have an appreciation for symmetry and the structure of buildings, and of course the nooks & crannies of a building that nobody else has noticed.
In this series of photographs, I delved deep into structure and traditition. Each one of these photographs are of examples of old architecture that I have tried to bring to life by zoning in on the parts I found most unique.
I often use nature to aid my work- I enjoy the soft echoes of flowers & plants to compliment the rougher textures of the building I am trying to capture.
