I fell in love with street photography a while back, when I discovered the beauty of capturing candid moments entirely by accident. Since then, I have continued to refuse to leave the house without my camera- for I never know when I am going to capture something interesting purely by luck!
A few of my street series has been exhibited recently, 4 particularly powerful shots. I capture unedited joy, however I also find a lot of pain.
Street photography is an accurate representation of the human condition- something I am always keen to investigate further. It makes me wonder, when late at night as I am scrolling through the images I took earlier, what is this person’s life like outwith this snapshot in time?
I initially became interested in street photography when I was dabbling in photojournalism, and discovered purely by chance, the sheer gravity and importance of capturing the current world around us.
